## Common questions
- Where do the license details come from? From the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the state agency that issues contractor licenses. Each listing shows the date we checked, and you can confirm the license yourself on myfloridalicense.com.
- What's the difference between a CCC and an RC license? A CCC is a certified roofing license, valid anywhere in Florida. An RC is a registered roofing license, valid only in the local areas where the contractor is registered. Look up which one your roofer holds on the DBPR license search.
- How do I tell a paid listing from the rest? Look for the Sponsored label. Every paid placement carries it, wherever it appears. Payment doesn't change a listing's rating or its license details.
- How will ratings work? Ratings aren't live yet. Before the first rating appears, we'll publish the method: what is rated, who can rate, how a rater is checked and how a roofer can respond.
- My company is listed wrong. How do I fix it? Tell us through the contact page, with your business name and license number. License details follow DBPR, so a change on the state record shows here after our next check.
