This policy explains what information we collect when you use Florida Roofing Professionals, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can.
Information we collect
- Newsletter: if you sign up, your email address. We ask for nothing else.
- Server logs: like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical details of each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to run and secure the site.
- Messages: if you contact us by email or through our contact form, the details you choose to send.
- Messages to a listed company: if you use a listing's message form, the name, email, phone, ZIP code and message you enter are emailed to that company. We do not store them on this site.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers or social media pixels on this site.
Information about roofing businesses
Listings describe businesses, not homeowners. License details come from public records published by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Other details are labeled as the business's own statements. A business can ask us to correct or remove its listing.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To run, secure and fix the site.
- To answer your messages and handle correction or removal requests.
Service providers
- Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
- beehiiv — newsletter delivery and subscriber management, once newsletter sign-ups open.
- Resend — delivers messages you send to listed companies, once messaging opens.
- HighLevel — manages messages sent through our contact form, once the form opens.
We use a small number of providers to run the site. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us.
- Ask us to correct or remove a business listing.
How long we keep it
Newsletter records are kept while you are subscribed and removed on request. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention settings.
Children
This site is meant for adults hiring roofing work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
